We have been led by the intelligence of nature and the wisdom of time-honoured tradition for 26 years and counting. Our work to continue regenerating ancestral farmland and supporting small scale rural farmers in India is made possible by inspiring customers like you.

Pioneers in commercial Tulsi cultivation
It all started with three farmers who began cultivating Tulsi Holy-Basil, one of the most revered herbs in India. Tulsi had never been grown as a commercial product, as locals previously only had this herb potted in their homes for spiritual protection.
Tulsi is now commonly available in the conventional market; however, we pay substantially more, 3-4x above the conventional prices.
This has been our practice from the outset. As pioneers in commercial Tulsi cultivation, ORGANIC INDIA continues to set industry standards, ensuring that farmers receive fair prices.

In 2022-2023, we sourced 3,435 metric tons (7,642,467 lbs) of raw materials direct, disbursing over 2.3 million US Dollars to our direct partner farmers.
Nearly 70% of our crops are grown in the rainy season and require no irrigation.
“Regenerative organic agriculture” is the next logical evolution of farming standards and ensures everything from the soil, the farmers to their communities and the world is taken into account.

While we have always practiced regenerative organic, we are pleased to now be officially Regenerative Organic Certified®.
Through this certification, we are verified for practices beyond Organic and Fairtrade.

ORGANIC INDIA FOUNDATION (OIF) Healthcare Clinics Covered 9022 Patients Between 2022-2023
- Established in 2006, providing free outpatient care and educational campaigns to farming community members.
- Each day, around 30 to 40 patients come seeking medical help at our Azamgarh clinic.
- Educational sessions on sanitation, water, hygiene, nutrition reached 6715 participants in 343 workshops (2022-23).
More than 50% of our overall raw material volume is acquired directly from independent farmer partners, while the remainder we source directly from value-aligned organisations that uphold the same rigorous, organic and equitable standards.
